Comp-U-Tech's Training Programs

Let Your Computers Work for You!

Each of our 3-hour trainings gives you and your staff hands-on practice in all the listed skills (see other training pages). Trainings can be scheduled in a conference room at your office or at a remote site. In either case, Comp-U-Tech will provide all of the equipment and materials to train up to 10 members of your staff in each session.

Our Core Skills trainings are designed not only for the light-duty user (sales staff, etc.), but also for users who have been working with the programs without exploring all of the features that could make their work easier and more efficient.

Our Advanced Skills trainings expose the user to the automation features of Word and Excel that really make the programs useful.

Windows File Management training helps users get control of the files that they create, showing them how to create, organize, and use their data. It is also a good introduction to Windows operations and shortcuts, without seeming like an introductory course; users at all levels can benefit.

Comp-U-Tech will also work with you to create custom trainings that incorporate your company's computer processes and line-of-business applications into the class.

Bill Pearson has taught computer software classes at the post-secondary level since 1999. He has trained hundreds of business users to more efficiently operate their computers and get the greatest results in less time from Microsoft Office programs.

In groups where users took skills assessment tests before and after his 3-hour trainings, their average scores for Word, Excel, and Outlook rose over 70%!

Bill holds a B.A. degree from Clemson University and a certificate in Group Facilitation from the Institute of Cultural Affairs.
